John 2:24..."But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men, and had no need that anyone should testify of man, for He knew what was in man." Wow!! EPISODE 41 Seems hard to believe that Jesus would not commit himself to a man. I mean Jesus committed Himself to Mankind by an act of grace on the cross at Calvary. He did not do this for a man though. The only way possible to understanding this is acknowledging that Jesus died for the sin of mankind "in the aggregate" (meaning all have access). However, He did not die for sin in the personal until it is received personally as payment for your personal sin. Likewise, Jesus commits Himself to mankind for certain (in the aggregate), and by the same token He does not commit Himself to you unless you commit to Him. Jesus knows what is in the heart of a man. He knows your heart. There is no collective salvation it is only personal. There is no collective commitment it also is personal. A personal relationship with God is what the cross offers us. 📖 Scripture | John 2:11-25, Romans 3:23, Romans 8:13, Galatians 6:7-8 | ____________________________________________________________________________________________ 🔔 SUBSCRIBE for weekly truth to challenge and equip you as a person of Faith. 📲 Connect deeper: https://www.edgeofthespirit.com Comment and share this post with someone you know who needs a deeper relationship with Jesus💥 🤯 🙏 _______________________________________________________________________________________ #freedom #disciples #family #men #christian #fishersofmen #manofgod #godsworkmanship #t2t #prime #fight #family #fear #excellence #oldtestament #newtestament #kingdom #business #bethelfullgospel #bethel #peace #Jesus #faith #heaven #edge #sword #spirituality #judgement #trending #usmilitary #temptations #satan #rank #worthy #force #love #mystery #prophet #beatitudes #commitment

We panic when we can't live up to the beatitudes. No worries neither could the Jews live up to the Law. The beatitudes are really an extension of the Law and guess what we struggle to live up to them also. EPISODE 40 Post episode 39 is yet another most important teaching of Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew. Loving your family is expected but loving your enemies?... that's the Kingdom. Praying for those you want to see saved; sure why not but for those who despitefully use you?...that's the Kingdom. Jesus came to teach and to live out the Kingdom. The Kingdom of God is both in you as a born again believer and it is a real physical reality. It will be established in its time and by Christ alone. In the meantime we try to live the kingdom principles through our daily life with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the greatest sermon ever preached. 📖 Scripture | Luke 6:20-36 | ____________________________________________________________________________________________ 🔔 SUBSCRIBE for weekly truth to challenge and equip you as a person of Faith. 📲 Connect deeper: https://www.edgeofthespirit.com Comment and share this post with someone you know who needs a deeper relationship with Jesus💥 🤯 🙏 _______________________________________________________________________________________ #freedom #disciples #family #men #christian #fishersofmen #manofgod #godsworkmanship #t2t #prime #fight #family #fear #excellence #oldtestament #newtestament #kingdom #business #bethelfullgospel #bethel #peace #Jesus #faith #heaven #edge #sword #spirituality #judgement #trending #usmilitary #temptations #satan #rank #worthy #force #love #mystery #prophet #beatitudes

Fake news? Ha....How about Fake Love!! No-one has time for that clap trap we all got jammed down our throats in the 1960's and 70's. EPISODE 39 In the Gospel of Matthew is a most important teaching of Jesus. He sums up the bottom line on our inability to love supremely by laying out the reality of what the Old Testament and the New Testament (by extension) hang on. It all hinges upon Loving God in a perfect way and Loving our Neighbors as ourselves. It is a simple message but not so simple of an application. It takes work to search out the mysteries of the Kingdom of God but it is to our own glory when we do. Then, we find out that Gods Love is truly overwhelming...Human love cannot compete in any way, shape or form! 📖 Scripture | Matthew 22:37-40 | Matthew 7:12 | Proverbs 25:2 | ____________________________________________________________________________________________ 🔔 SUBSCRIBE for weekly truth to challenge and equip you as a person of Faith. 📲 Connect deeper: https://www.edgeofthespirit.com Comment and share this post with someone you know who needs a deeper relationship with Jesus💥 🤯 🙏 _______________________________________________________________________________________ #freedom #disciples #family #men #christian #fishersofmen #manofgod #godsworkmanship #t2t #prime #fight #family #fear #excellence #oldtestament #newtestament #kingdom #business #bethelfullgospel #bethel #peace #Jesus #faith #heaven #edge #sword #spirituality #judgement #trending #usmilitary #temptations #satan #rank #worthy #force #love #mystery #prophet

The humble take it by grace and faith, but the violent attempt to take it by force. The violent are the sensual and the fleshly. Christ IS the narrow way into heaven and there is no other way in. We must live this life as a believer with an eternal mindset otherwise we will struggle in our walk of Faith. Jesus challenges us to live our faith out with reckless abandon putting Christ first above all things. | Episode 37 | Join our podcast host John in this episode as he looks at the powerful prescription Jesus gives for a singular life of Faith in Christ. Jesus calls us to love Him above all other relationships; He says He came to bring division and not peace (it's not what you think) and He says not doing so puts us perilously close to being unworthy. Jesus loves us FAR more than we can comprehend. We must live this life as a believer with an eternal mindset otherwise we will struggle in our walk. Some people have the innate ability to see into the spiritual realms and even further they understand the order of Gods Kingdom. Those are people who know submission to authority, rank, order and proper form. They are vital to our world and to the next if they come to faith in Jesus. | EPISODE 36 | Join Pastor John in this episode as he looks at the amazing faith of the roman centurion whose servant was healed by the Lord. "Just say the Word Lord" is a phrase he uses and should be emblazoned on our consciouses as believers when it comes to prayer and faith. We must live this life as a believer with an eternal mindset otherwise we will struggle in our walk. The Enemy has a wicked plan and purpose for humanity and he is distinct in his functions. Although he is an adversary of the believer and an accuser of the believer, his main activity is to entice people into sin and disobedience to God as a tempter. Contrast this with a loving God who tests us, but never tempts us. | EPISODE 35 | Join Pastor John in this episode as he looks at the eternal mindset necessary for crushing the tactics of the enemy and combating the "lust of the flesh, the eyes and the pride of life". CUTTING THROUGH WITH TRUTH Living for the Kingdom involves walking away from pride and towards humility. This is difficult for most people. Christians are not immune to this. Too many want the sprinkling of Jesus on us: a life of approval from God instead of service and obedience to God. | EPISODE 34 | The bottom line on being a believer today is that it must be an "all in for God" endeavor.
